"Everything is created from moment to moment, always new. Like
fireworks, this universe is a celebration and you are the spectator
contemplating the eternal Fourth of July of your absolute splendor."

I think the importance of TVbyGirls is that we make films in such a different style that people really stop and pay attention. They really stand out. This works to our advantage trying to communicate more positive and authentic messages, because what we have to say and how we are saying it are so out of the ordinary, people get what we are trying to communicate. We don't blend in as just another voice saying "do this, do that". My friends and other people who have watched my (and TVbyGirls's) pieces have said that the images evoke something that was in their head or something they were feeling but that they didn't know how to explain. In that way, I think it lets people feel supported, and feel that someone empathizes with them and understands what they're feeling, but it comes in a popular culture medium, which in today's world can fortunately and unfortunately be a very credible source.
